Designed by Filippo Bombace for the Tuscan company Effeti, Screen is a kitchen that sits in the middle of the room, so you can move about freely and socialize as you cook.
The width and height can be customized, along with the appliances and finishes. But no matter how the kitchen is arranged, the effect will be neat because the various elements — cooktop, sink, refrigerator, dishwasher, storage and lighting — are cleverly concealed.
The details are like furniture: appliances are hidden behind doors; unobtrusive grooves in the wood function as pulls for the cupboards and drawers; and the entire unit is backed with a solid wood panel with a ledge for displaying decorative objects.
The cabinetry comes in 12 wood-veneer finishes or in matte or glossy custom-colored lacquer.
